Dr. Mary Dellenbaugh (Germany)

Dr. Mary Dellenbaugh is an independent urban researcher, policy adviser and author with a concentration on integrated post-industrial urban development, in particular, creative industries, real estate market dynamics, new forms of resource use (i.e. urban commons) and urban branding and marketing. She has been validated by the EU program URBACT as a lead expert for these topics and has published widely about them as well. She has lectured at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin and the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft and is frequently an external adviser for bachelors and masters theses. Her most recent book, Städtewandel durch Kultur, will be released in Spring 2017. This work follows her 2015 edited volume “Urban Commons: Moving beyond State and Market,” which she completed with the other members of the Urban Research Group.
